For the athletes there was absolutely no problem this time with dogs, trains, walkers in Donaupark because IN A WEATHER LIKE THIS NOBODY WOULD GO OUT WITHOUT A GOOD REASON. Heavy rain did not keep members and guests of the VICRunners from having a good time at the Annual Run, however.

23rd Annual Donaupark Run (10k No. 207)
Autumn Mile (Mile No. 70)
First victory for Harald in a VICRunners event, and more PRs by Mario, Frank, Gerald and Andrea (female) in this rainy race.
Luckily there were four timers - two to record the times and two to hold the umbrellas.
September Time Trial (10k No. 206)
Eleven participants were in PR mood today, first sub-40 for Harald, first sub-50s for Mario, Mohammad and Pascal, first sub-60 for Nada ! First VICRunners appearances for Ruth jumping to rank no. 7 in the top 100, and for Ira. Comebacks of the day: Jane's and Tamas' first VICRunners event after more than 2 years.

2nd VIC Games 10k (No. 205)
The number of participants today had almost dimensions of an Annual Run - thank you all for your attendance !
Congratulations to those few who ran a PR despite the high temperature - Beate missed rank 4 in the top 100 by 2 seconds, Malik improved by 5 minutes (!), Frank & Daniela.
Special congratulations to the VIC Football team who all three finished their 10k !
2nd VIC Games Mile (Mile No. 69)
Thirteen teams registered for the 2nd VICGames ! Many PRs resulted in new entries in the mile top 100 list. Beate is the second lady in VICRunners' history to run a mile under 6 minutes. Very strong: CTBTO Men_s middle distance specialists _ will they be able to defend the lead on Thursday ? Nada could not make it today, but will join her team in the 10k run. Please check the team rating at the bottom of this table.
June Time Trial (10k No. 204)
After today's rain race, two guests are found on top of the ranking list - Peter dominated the race and Christian won the sprint of the followers' group. Successful 10k debuts for Harald and Malik, a successful comeback for Tom and - unusual under these unfriendly circumstances - four PRs.
6th IAG Qualification Run (Mile No. 68)
This was as announced Jalil's 50th (!) mile run with the VICRunners - a lonely record. With her PR Beate jumped to rank 5 in the top 100 list equalizing Ann Macheck's time from 3 years ago. Seven seconds faster and she would have been the second female VICRunner doing a sub-6 minutes mile after Liz Roehrig back in 1990.
